MEALS

In 2018 the City Meals on Wheels of Westchester opened a new warehouse in the Bronx.  Directed at providing for the city’s elderly, the Joan & Bob Tisch Distribution Center is able to handle twice the capacity of the organization’s previous warehouse.

For this project, I worked as a design middleman between M.O.W. and their printing agency. Working with that team, I was able to coordinate the production  for all of the printed pieces. Many of the portraits exceeded 30 feet in height, and needed to be printed in multiple sections across different printers. This led to additional complications with quality control, as all of the printers had slightly different color profiles that needed to be adjusted accordingly.

The project required a huge quantity of printing on an extremely tight deadline, but ultimately went incredibly smoothly. All of the production and installation work was completed ahead of schedule and on time for their grand unveiling.
