EXHIBIT

I worked on a small team to create an app for the Dorsky Museum at the State University of New York in New Paltz. Our team brought this project from the original concept stages, through wireframing and into the finished product.

The project brings together current and upcoming works, artists, and shows. Users can also link the app to an external social media account to RSVP, or share events.

I functioned as the Art Director for this project. In collaboration with the rest of the team, we created all of the necessary branding guidelines. Ranging from fonts and color schemes to featured images. We were also able to consider The Dorsky’s existing branding and incorporate those styles where appropriate.

BOX

ScanBox is an app concept that I fleshed out as an exercise in UX and wireframing. There are plenty of websites that provide a place for 3D Designers to share files and feedback. At the time, the ability to scan 3 dimensional objects with a phone camera was still nonexistant. The core idea behind ScanBox was to combine these features into a singular location.

ScanBox’s UI includes spaces for users to scan their objects, post them to a forum of other users, and download models posted on that forum. Users can also export models directly to 3D printers and comment to suggest machine settings or give suggestions.

Since its original conception, ScanBox has been made obsolete by more modern apps. However, the project conveys niche ideas that would have been game changers for creatives in this field in 2015.
